While the nice folks at justdoing.it provide an online tag creator, it
requires you to hand over your username and password to the nikeplus.com site.
A proposition that doesn't always sit well with the security-minded.
Nike+ Tag Builder (yes, I realize the name is doomed) allows you to create a basic statistics tag for your homepage,
blog, or MySpace page. It can either locate your iPod Nano and read directly from the synched workouts stored there or
from a backup directory (if you're paranoid about losing your run data like I am). The output is to a small jpg
that can be placed anywhere jpgs can live.
You must have had synced with Nikeplus.com at least once, otherwise, the tag builder won't see any workouts

Special Thanks To...
These people were helpful in either testing the Tag Builder, providing feedback, provided test files, or just
said 'thanks' (which goes a long ways when you write free software)
All of you a Runpl.us, particularly Brnzwngs, MadeUpName (Paula),
njrunnerFred, LD and his toddler, and mathgeek.
Now allows you to set the font, font color, background color and toggle the border on and off.
Saves preferences, including all the font/color information along with your username and tag size.
v1.1.2
** CHANGES
Updated the image saving routine to produce a much more friendly (and valid) JPEG.
v1.1.1
** CHANGES
With the new Nanos, the ability to determine the type of Nano is no longer readily available.
To compensate for this fact, the Tag Builder now looks for an Empeds directory in any iPod it
finds to verify that it's valid.
v1.1
** BUG FIXES
Fixed a bug in locateiPod: that was using an undefined variable if the computer had only one
iPod attached when it was called.
Changed the mechanism for discovering XML files in a particular path from directory enumeration to
simple contents listing as enumeration was doing far too deep of a search and finding XML files that
shouldn't have been found.
Now correctly test to make sure the XML file we're trying to parse is, indeed, a valid Nike+ workout
file. Throws up an error window to inform the user and ignores the file.
Processing the XML files is now done in its own thread so the UI won't get hung up or trip over itself
when an error is encountered.
v1.0
Initial Release
** KNOWN/SOON-TO-BE-RESOLVED ISSUES
More than one iPod Nanos connected to the computer at the same timewill cause a problem when
trying to locate the iPod.
